Introductory Youth Hockey Equipment Assistance Program 2017-2018

The Cincinnati Hockey Organization (“CHO”) Introductory Hockey Equipment Assistance Program is intended to help introduce more young players to the game of ice hockey by reducing the cost of purchasing introductory equipment.  It is intended for players 10 and under, limited to youth sizes and covers most equipment needed to play organized hockey: Bauer Prodigy equipment (helmet, shoulder and elbow pads, gloves, pants and shin pads and hockey bag).

How to participate in the CHO Equipment Assistance Program

The CHO has entered into an arrangement with Northland Pro Shop to facilitate the sizing and purchase of youth sized equipment.  To be eligible, players must:

 1.  Reference this (“CHO Introductory Youth Equipment Assistance Program”) program prior to sizing and ordering the equipment package.

Note: Equipment is limited to the Bauer Starter Package sizes available.

2.  There must be proof of current paid registration in a local youth hockey association or club program.

Note:  USA Hockey Number and copy of local hockey program receipt
must be provided at time of equipment sizing

The Northland Pro Shop staff will facilitate the sizing and ordering of equipment and, along with proof of registration, present to the CHO for payment.   A copy of this document will assist pro shop employees in facilitating your equipment fitting.

The CHO mission is to promote youth ice hockey within the local Cincinnati market.  By removing one of the initial barriers to playing ice hockey, we hope to introduce more players to this incredible sport and grow participation in organized youth hockey locally.

Participation is limited to SouthWest Ohio/Northern Kentucky geographical areas.

CHO reserves the right to terminate this program at any time.
